What an honor to be a part of this movement in our own backyard (Miami, Florida). Mayor Daniella Levine Cava declared November 19th as “Apprenticeship Day in Miami-Dade County.”
Our own Carlos Vazquez received a framed copy of the proclamation during the events.
Apprenticeship Day was part of a broader celebration of National Apprenticeship Week. For those that haven’t followed the movement, Miami-Dade County has been a leader in community integration between programs in high schools and post-secondary schools paired up with strong employer participation.
And just a friendly reminder…it’s free for both high schools and colleges to claim their profile in the GoSprout community. We only charge for our apprenticeship management software for active apprentices within a program and that fee is covered by the employer.
